"What do the pirates have, though? A few banged-up AKs and an RPG-7 in a launch held together with duct tape?"   And we will be sinking that!  shocked grin

The trick is to hit them going home from a raid.  Whatever we capture is ours under the laws of the sea.

Wouldn't that make the entire point of hunting pirates for the shipping companies and cruise lines moot?.....

True.

Got caught up in the moment I guess, lost sight of the big picture.

The Viking, nice idea.  How about we also make a movie out of it, or perhaps even a TV series?  Lots of money potential there!

We could even do a survivor type swimming competition with the pirates.

Some kind of reality tv perhaps? Though I'll be damned if I can think of a concept beyond "shoot pirates, bring their heads in, get fat bundles of dollars in return".

Did what?

No... I can't understand what the hell a French cruise ship is doing off the coast of Somalia. You've got the entire Mediterranean to look at, why go to East Africa?

Be happy to join in on a summer punitive expedition. As long as there's high-speed internet on board. Who's the morale officer?
