Back on this again?

For a scene that gives chills, watch the DVD version of Razor. It includes some additional scenes with younger Adama in the first war.

When the Columbia goes up, it takes a hit in its main batteries and explodes in a huge starburst in the middle, the rest of the ship starting to crumple and fall out of orbit. Likely due to theoretical independent power supplies and wireless transmissions, you hear the CAG ordering fighters away just before it goes, then the screams of hundreds of the people still on board, transmissions starting to break up and fade, as the bow and other sections, burning, break free.

It's...haunting.
