Paddy for Veep.  With his plan to literally do nothing on election day, he's perfect!
If doing nothing is your plan . . . how do you know when you're through?

I think it involves change and hope.

I am thinking Alan Keyes: the only right-wing, radical, psycho, nutjob boy -- who is black -- that is the least bit known on a National stage?  He pulls McCain to the right and gets some black votes?

What McCain needs is:

1. Youth - or at least young enough so that he or she won't keel over and die of natural causes during the term. McCain might make it thru one term but two? I really have the feeling that who ever the VP is they'll be stepping into the Prez's shoes sometime during the 1st or 2nd term.
2. National Stature or at least someone that the Reps can build to National Stature in the time alloted.
3. From a large swing state
4. A woman. Being black won't matter. Blacks consider black republicans to be uncle toms and in general won't vote for them plus they've shown that they pretty much prefer the candidate who whines along with them about how freaking oppressed they are. An hispanic woman would probably be a plus.

Who fits the bill above? Beats me but in a nation of 300 million someone does.

At what point did MOST blacks forget that the democrat party is the one that resisted integration and kept the good old boy system going to this day? My dream team of a ticket would be something like Ben Stein VP and Ron Paul P. I would hope that the two of them would load up the cabinet with people that are actually qualified in their fields. I like Huck but he seems a little too quick on the trigger to get the bible confused with policy. God did give us the freedom to sin and all so I'm not sure I want porn and tobacco banned just yet. Sometimes the right thing to do and the legal things to be able do should not be one and the same and I want a candidate that understands that.
I can haz nukular banstiks ? Say no to furries, yes to people.

They'll label him an uncle tom (again) for not touting the reparations and entitlement lines.  Keyes has already run before and made less of a showing than Ron Paul.

That's right.  Lets turn over control of the whole electoral process to the most radical aspects of the parties.
There are alternative parties to the (R) and (D).  But you've lost your bearings and can't see through your own flying spittle.

Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty has been the long rumored VP candidate. He's such a moderate leaning Republican that in most states he would be considered a Democrat. Don't forget the convention is in Minnesota later this year.

There is an article on The Drudge Report stating that Edwards has endorsed Obama and maybe lining up to be the VP on that ticket.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Edwards would be perfect for the ticket.  Good looking.  Docile.  And he has the gravitas and experience that Obama lacks.

Well, maybe not that last part.   laugh  What a dream team that would be.  The amiable dunces with nothing more than good hair, mellifluous voices and a term-and-a-half of Senatorial experience between them.

I know it won't happen, but I would so love to see Ben Stein in office. Anyone see "Expelled?"
