He also gave no indication that he wasn't talking about Kennedy's inherent, inate qualities, either so you're equally far out on a limb and only assuming that you know what you're talking about.

The only difference is that I stated up front that I was making basing my interpretation on what I thought Steve was saying.

You have no more or less ability to claim that your position is correct than do I.

I wouldn't have to get out the dictionary so often if there weren't so many charming people at my educational level on VERY this diverse site.

Just last month my best friend of 40+ years lost his Father to a cluster of brain tumors that were discovered after he fell at home.

While I seriously and vehemetely oppose the man's politics, I feel bad for him and his family. Everyone has a time, such is life.
Can't say he's not had a rich, full life (Can't say the same for that poor young girl he manslaughtered).

I think Ted Kennedy is a scumbag of the highest order, but a brain tumor, man that's rough, and I wouldn't wish it on him. I would wish for him to quietly go away and not be in congress anymore, though. I'll add the Senator to my prayer list.

Specter did have a brain tumor at some point in the past.

I don't know if it was cancerous or not.

Having a primary brain tumor (oligodendroglioma), I can say that I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Even Ted Kennedy.

It sounds like he has a glioblastoma multiforme, which is a good deal more aggressive than mine. Typically less than a year life expectancy.

Specter may have had a secondary brain tumor. Some other type of cancer that spread to his brain. Lance Armstrong had secondary brain tumors from his testicular cancer IIRC.

Right now, I seem to be stable. We're four years into a seven to ten year prognosis. The way I look at it is that it'll probably kill me one day, but today is not that day. Does help you sort out your priorities, though. Thanks for the kind thoughts!
