RIP Chris Ledoux
« on: March 09, 2005, 11:43:20 AM »
Just heard on the radio that Chris Ledoux (Country Music Singer) died today.  I have seen quite a few of his concerts over the years.  Always a good time.  He lost a battle with cancer.   Sad

Yeah, looks like the bad news is correct.  May he rest in peace.

I had the privalge of meeting him when I worked at on of his concerts.  A great human being and entertainer.  May he rest in peace.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Met him at a nightclub gig in 1994.  I still have two of his autographed T-shirts, never worn or washed.  RIP, Chris.  Sad

sad very sad
But my dreams they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

He will be missed.
"He Rides The Wild Horses" and "Photo Finish" were my favorites from him.
Damn shame.
