Drat. Spent the day scouring the local fish shops and Pets Marts looking for some
White Cloud Mountain minnows to keep the lone individual of the species I have company. Shops across the northern arc of Denver have naught, but lots of other, gaudier fish.
Not wanting the day to be fruitless, I contented myself with adding a small school of small
Paracheirodon axelrodi to keep the lone individual of THAT species company.
Not that my tank is a death trap, its just been close to four years since I've added stock and time does take its toll, even in a balanced, maintained and heavily planted aquarium.
Now if I could only find some
Pelvicachromis taeniatus.
