My grandparent's property butts up to the back of Leisure World. I ought to call them and see how they made out.

3.5" is all it took for Monkey County (what was reported to me)?  We got 8+ here in Manassas.

I thought your wife had already bought you an ark. laugh

have the folks in montgomery county filed suit yet against pepco for the power being out?
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Trying to motivate myself to go for a ride.  I need the exercise, but I also have a strong desire to park my butt in front of the TV and watch Band Of Brothers.  Decisions decisions...

Chris, do you have the Dvd series?
As for Martinsburg WV we got some good rain but no trees down or loss of power.

Wife has to work today otherwise I'd have gotten with you for a ride.  As it was I only had time for about an hour on the road.

That's cool.  I'm going to drag Thing 1 around in the Burley later today.

It wouldn't take much of a flood to back up the storm sewers and reestablish the historic malaria infested swamp

The fed.gov would act just like katrina.  All those inner city denizens on the government dole would be saved and recycled either elsewhere or back to ground zero.  The government would waste untold billions on a rebuild of the city.  DC is so littered with monuments and memorials...that could get spendy real fast to replace.

And DC is high enough that it wouldn't stay flooded long.  Unlike NoLA.....which really is one category 4 or 5 from being the world's largest toxic bathtub.

But how would you tell the difference? Tongue
