Police responding to a call from the city's northwest side about 3:20 a.m. found 64-year-old Robert McNally on the hallway floor with his arm around the neck of 52-year-old David T. Meyers, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police spokesman Sgt. Matthew Mount said Meyers had a heart condition and may have had a heart attack. An autopsy was planned.

How do you we know that the daughter didn't invite this guy in?

Seems to me that he should be charged with the wanton, callous, and reckless murder of a human being!

Yes, in hindsight the guy was a very bad man, but how did Harry Homeowner know that?

Hell, I say the rapist got off easy. If I caught him, he would have died a very slow, very prolonged, very painful death. No cops would have ever been called.

Living way out in the country means being able to enjoy the screams without raising suspicion.

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Hey, I readily admit the other man was cleared and rightly so-the difference is that I was homing in on what cleared him, and not on the whole "Hey, if I see a guy naked in my daughter's room I'm swinging away!" mentality, which will land you in jail.

What gets you off in these situation is a factual scenario indicating something more than just not knowing what was going on; rather, having good reason to believe that something sinister was in the works (sinister as in felonious conduct that your daughter does not consent to) is what clears a person under the castle doctrine laws.

But then again, I've got a couple months' wait before I can give legal advice (should the exam have gone well.)  I'm just one of many clowns with a law degree, so anyone who honestly wants to know should pay a real attorney for advice and see what he says in any state you choose.
