That is all. *expletive deleted*ck you all, eat *expletive deleted*it, and die in a fire. I have considered writing here a long parting section dedicated to each poster, but I have decided, at length, against it. *expletive deleted*ck you all and Hail Satan.

Ok, the death toll is now at 24 with 8 or 9 being children.  Apparently some double counting was happening that jumped the number.

They are currently saying that they are 98% sure all are accounted for.  Going to make sure that every structure is checked at least 3 times.

Job interview.  Third level, face-to-face, on site.  This is after a month+ of screening interviews, video Skype, online tests (3), and two technical interviews.  Next step is in-person Spanish Inquisition.

Someone forgot to mention that there would be a SHTF weather exercise included.

What company and when you going to be here?
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

sometimes them being wrong is good
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Flying down Monday, arrive after 5pm.  Interview(s) at VGT pretty much all day Tuesday.  Fly back around 8pm Tues.

They're currently in growth mode.  Given they're in casino gaming systems, I'll let you work out what that implies about the relationship between gambling (casino style) and the economy.

For those who are in that area and who are inclined to turn casual coffee into a mob scene, I will be happy to PM or email my cell number.  I can't stay up late, 'cuz, y'know, INTERVIEW and all that, but a quick meet-n-greet is always welcome.

I watched a segment where someone was going on about how they knew the addresses of the shelters (those are evidently registered with emergency services), but they were going through neighborhoods where, not only were the homes gone, but also the street signs, and they claimed they couldn't tell where the shelters were supposed to be.

And, if there were no nav aids, I suppose that would be the case, but I have to believe they have nav aids.  Even with my puny consumer-level phone-based GPS, I can hit an address on a street with no signposting and no structures.

Yeah, I understand that it's easier when you have the buildings and the signs and the addresses painted on the homes and the curbs but, seriously?  If search and rescue is your business, the possible absence of structures and landmarks in a tornado zone pretty much has to be anticipated as "normal" when following an F4 or F5.

All the same, I found the sight of razed structures pretty sobering.
