Unfortunately, even if your CPU, or GPU is SOI innumerable other component's aren't. Even just regular stand-alone transistors etc. in the power supply, the monitor, or even just the keyboard, leaving you with no control or input... Any of which will render your computing device useless even if some of it is okay.
