Firefox or Opera with biometric scanner

OK, IE has started to get flaky for me lately, mostly when I click the X and get an instruction error.  Being a big fan of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', I never really had a reason to switch before.

I really like Opera, and since I just today found out it is now free, would like to switch to that.  Firefox is also an option, although there is just something about it that I don't care for.  Can't really put my finger on it, it just doesn't feel right.

Anyway, does anyone know how to hook up the MS fingerprint reader to either browser?  If I gotta start typing in passwords to all my sites, I'm just gonna fix whatever is broken with IE.

Also, on a related note, anyone know why Firefox won't let me log out of APS or THR?
I still say 'Give Detroit to Canada'

I'd un/re-install Firefox.  Save your bookmarks first.

Great thing about Firefox is all the plugins (called "Extensions") ... there's an extension to do just about anything.
