Formula for pressure of rounds in suppressors?
« on: November 04, 2005, 09:55:00 PM »
I'm trying to find a formula to tell me the PSI for various rounds in suppressors, so I can take the cartridge, grains of powder, and suppressor area and come up with a #.

Any hints?

PV=nRT might apply here, but there are a frightening number of variables and you'd need a supercomputer to get the dynamics right.

In short, Idunno. Cheesy
