If it wasn't on my property I probably wouldn't bother it.  On the other hand, if there is a potential of some kids finding it I would alert the authorities.  I don't have huge ethical or legal problems with pot, but leaving it out where some 12 year olds could find it is a bad move and deserves to be punished.

I would be concerned about what concerns me...namely, trespassers on my property.  But then, you might have been trespassing as well...correct?  If the pot wasn't on my land, I wouldn't do anything.
