This is a great read, not a "guns 'n beans' type, but a really well written essay on the direction we are heading in and what may help us ensure prosperity and personal survival.

His various essays on the state of the world are interesting also, the economic situation, etc. Highly reccomended if you love to think about what is really going on in the world. And refreshingly free from political dogma-he actually thinks about issues rather than automaticly accepting or dismissing them based on some ideology check list.
