The 10 Red Balloons
« on: December 05, 2009, 06:30:23 PM »
Is any one here looking for these things this weekend. Surprisingly, some web communities have decided to donate the winnings to charity if they win. It's a thrill of the chase and sharing of information type of thing. This where a web enabled phone would come in handy.

DARPA's giant red balloons officially at large

I don't belong to any websites that are actively looking for the balloons.

Edited for spelling sow it wood look write.

Damn things are a hazard to aviation.  I watched a bunch of ballons intersect with an F18 intake once, during flight, and nearly kill the pilot.  Flame outs on short final at approach speed are not cool.

Why can we not spell "balloons" properly in this thread?   >:D

(Yeah, I'm being a jerk today.)

If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

At least these balloons are tethered, not flying around in search of a 757 to take out.

Tethered? Balloon? Anyone missing a 6-year old son?
