I went to REI today looking for a lighter pair of hiking boots. I have Vasque heavy duty backpacking boots I use for just about everything including now daily wear since they are the only shoes I have that don't mess my feet up. They are a bit warm for every day wear, ok a lot warm.
As I was walking in I realized this was the scuff and scratch sale weekend. On the table out front was a pair of the Vasque Breeze GTX in my size. The damage was a scuff on the heel that I would have probably done myself before even getting back to my car. Regular price on those is $140. They were mine for $70
