I decided to get recertified.

Same result:

You scored as Serenity (Firefly).

Serenity (Firefly)                             81%
Deep Space Nine (Star Trek)             75%
Babylon 5 (Babylon 5)                      63%
Moya (Farscape)                              63%
Galactica (Battlestar: Galactica)         56%
Millennium Falcon (Star Wars)            56%
SG-1 (Stargate)                               50%
Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix)             50%
Andromeda Ascendant (Andromeda)    44%
Bebop (Cowboy Bebop)                     38%
FBI's X-Files Division (The X-Files)      25%
Enterprise D (Star Trek)                    25%

Surprises me that I scored so high on DS9, which I never liked, and so low on Bebop, which I do like.

Still flyin' with Serenity  cool

Ohhhh.  I wanted Andromeda, but they said Enterprise D.   sad   And I'm not even a Utopian socialist. Apparently I'm too law-abiding and too idealistic.

Does this say fistful to you?  I must have misunderstood some questions.

Firefly at 100%.  The two surprises was that STDS9 scored second and Babylon 5 score near the bottom of the pack.

My two favorite SF series are Firefly & Babylon 5.  I guess I like my SF to have some ties to human nature and not be some utopian socialist wet dream (paging Star Trek...).

As far as Star Trek goes, I think they all stank to various degrees after the original series, some worse than others.  Of the movies, only STII:WoK was a good movie.

Well, here's what I got. Suprised me quite a bit, I must say.

Enterprise D (Star Trek) 69%

Moya (Farscape) 69%

Babylon 5 (Babylon 5) 69%

Andromeda Ascendant (Andromeda) 63%

Serenity (Firefly) 56%

Deep Space Nine (Star Trek) 50%

Millennium Falcon (Star Wars) 44%

SG-1 (Stargate) 44%

FBI's X-Files Division (The X-Files) 31%

Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix) 25%

Galactica (Battlestar: Galactica) 19%

Bebop (Cowboy Bebop) 13%

Took the test again. Slightly different results.

Enterprise D (Star Trek) 69%

Babylon 5 (Babylon 5) 63%

Galactica (Battlestar: Galactica) 63%

Millennium Falcon (Star Wars) 63%

Andromeda Ascendant (Andromeda) 56%

Deep Space Nine (Star Trek) 56%

Serenity (Firefly) 56%

FBI's X-Files Division (The X-Files) 31%

SG-1 (Stargate) 31%

Bebop (Cowboy Bebop) 31%

Moya (Farscape) 31%

Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix) 25%

I wonder if the higher rating for the Millennium Falcon is the result of watching Star Wars since I originally took the quiz?

A clear miss. Picard & co. are atheistic space-socialists. If the divine is limited to the Q, fistful will be one very unhappy camper. On the upside, you get to spend many hours on PolitRuk-Commissar Troi's couch for your re-education. Urgh! <shiver>

My guess is what got you on the Enterprise is the ethical inability to get your hands dirty, more than your law-abiding streak.

Serenity and Millennium Falcon, awesome. I'm royally pissed that the Bebop was so far down the list, though. angry

Your religious convictions will likely clash with pragmatic needs of ungentler nature in a large uncaring galaxy, e.g. killing "innocents", aiding criminals, breaking laws, etc. It's a "means vs ends" thing.

Serenity = 100%

I'm not sure what that means, specifically, but 100% is a TON of alignment.

Interesting.

Second?  DS9, also 100%.

You scored as Serenity (Firefly).

You like to live your own way and don't enjoy when anyone but a friend tries to tell you should do different. Now if only the Reavers would quit trying to skin you.

Serenity (Firefly)  88%  OK . . . "Someone trys to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back!
SG-1 (Stargate)   75%     OK . . . provided I get a P90.
Moya (Farscape)  69%     Didn't like the show, ship, or characters.
FBI's X-Files Division (The X-Files)  69%   The first season or 2 was OK, then it got downright silly.
Galactica (Battlestar: Galactica)    69%   Nope . . . people are too easily distracted by nonsense, even in the heat of battle.
Babylon 5 (Babylon 5)                  63%   My favorite of the shows . . . especially Season 4.
Deep Space Nine (Star Trek)         63%   Uneven between pragmatic and PC
Millennium Falcon (Star Wars)        56%   OK . . . but learning Wookie might be difficult.
Enterprise D (Star Trek)               50%    Nope . . . Picard as a leader was uninspiring.
Bebop (Cowboy Bebop)                50%    No idea?
Andromeda Ascendant (Andromeda)  44%   Didn't the guy who played Hercules show up in this show?
Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix)           44%   Too much mysticism . . . but I wouldn't mind Neo's gun collection.

Perhaps what fistful* needs is to drink in a bit of the sort of Christianity that the various knightly orders sprang from.  The Teutons, Templars, and the others were pretty down-to-earth in their understanding of how the world worked and the savage nature of humanity.

Plenty of Christian warrior archetypes over the years who knew the crooked timber from which their fellow man was hewn.

* Or the "fistful" that resides in the mind's eye of CAnnoneer.  The actual fistful may be a different character altogether.

Woot!  Very accurate test.
