Doing this to a Mustang should be a crime

I hope none of Ford's designers see this, or they may all commit suicide.

Is that that stupid "Knight Rider" car they tried to use in the revival series a couple years ago? [barf]
The original was fun.  The remake was stupid.
I like the Mustang it was based on ... but the cr@p they had it do ....   Transmorph into a pickup ...SUV ...

Hollywood has no new ideas.... hasn't for a long time.

That car is sexy. The red lights up front remind me of Knight Rider, lol

edit - Ha, TommyGunn beat me to it. Don't remember there being a revival series.

More of a remake as I recall.

Every time I see such cars and, especially, pickups, I think someone never outgrew Mr. Potato Head.
Gee, I'd love to see your data!

That's one of the versions created for the revived Knight Rider. The "Attack Mode" or whatever.

Exactly. That was where the show got really stupid. Other than that kind of stuff, I did like the show.

The one with the eight tires is... interesting. Looks like it needs a .50 mounted on each side for some reason.

The new Knight Rider KITT car (See full profile) made its official public debut at NBC Studios in Burbank, Calif. on December 12, 2007. These modified GT Mustangs, designed to look like a 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR, starred as KITT in the made for television movie remake on Sunday February 17th, 2008. It replaced the Pontiac Trans Am featured in the original series which was popular in the 1980s. The new KITT is the daily driver for Mike Tracer, the main character, played by Justin Bruening, and can turn into "Attack Mode" when its crime-fighting abilities are needed. In April of 2008 NBC announced it will turn the show into a weekly series on the network.

The lime green one ain't a Mustang.  As for the rest, well not all Mustang owners can be as cool as me, but some overcompensate while trying.

Some need a .50 in a turret on top. :)
