New Dem symbol is begging for crosshairs
« on: September 16, 2010, 06:00:24 PM »
I received the email below today, and noticed the new Democrat symbol (I hope they didn't pay more than $1.50 for the graphic designer).

Am I the only one who thinks it needs crosshairs to make it complete? ;)

It further "legitimizes" the O-logo that Obama has been using.

I bet the hex color code for the outer blue circle is identical to that of his.

I would expect them to use the Obama campaign logo.  Why not?

Dunno if the symbol is "begging for crosshairs", but I've ordered MY bumper sticker.  I figure I've got a week or so to decide what to do with (to!) it.   >:D

You'd give them a D+? I'd give a D- at best and probably more like an F-.

Who's the poster here who has the Goatse-esque Obama avatar?  The 'D' in the middle of that would be appropriate.

At your service

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Morning coffee and inspiration from this thread.  =D

I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

The apostrophe is inverted.
Seek out wisdom in books, rare manuscripts, and cryptic poems if you will, but seek it also in simple stones and fragile herbs and in the cries of wild birds. Listen to the song of the wind and the roar of water if you would discover magic, for it is here that the old secrets are still preserved.

I want to know did anyone else notice that the "O" is outside the "D", so would that make them OD or odd?

The Dem's logo is just begging to be made into small, campaign-button sized stickers for easy application in a number of places....

....like urinals, spittoons, trash cans, and other recepticals for refuse....
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

I discovered the real inspiration for the new logo.
