LawDog vs. the gun-grabbers

One of my favorite bloggers has a little fun with an online questionnaire:

(the cake analogy is a winner)

and the follow-up:

The snark is strong in that one!
"Rev, your picture is in my King James Bible, where Paul talks about "inventors of evil."  Yes, I know you'll take that as a compliment."  - Fistful, possibly highest compliment I've ever received.

LawDog is The Man, from the times when that was a good thing. His LE stories are herniatingly funny.

His LE stories and his childhood stories are all excellent.

It is impossible to pick a favorite.

I would love to meet him in person. I don't even drink (alcohol, that is ... Diet Coke is another story) and I'd buy him a beer.

This is classic:

   1. Do you believe that 30,000 gun deaths a year is too many?

Compared to what? Compared to the number of traffic fatalities, it's minuscule. Compared to the number of swimming pool fatalities, it's still a small number. Compared to the number of people killed each year by medical malpractice it's tiny. Compared to the number of people beaten to death each year by a pyromaniac midget with an ivory elephant goad, it's a large number.

thanks for the link, I remember the good old days when he would post on thr
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".
