Bundaberg Rum apologizes for its apology
« on: November 16, 2010, 10:50:54 AM »
http://bayourenaissanceman.blogspot.com/2010/11/round-of-applause-for-folks-at.html

Seems the Aussie chapter of PETA had some concerns about the adverts.

Seems the guys at Bundaberg Rum did not.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

The first one wasn't that funny to me, simply because of the ridiculousness of it.

The "apology" was freaking hilarious, though.

The "apology for the apology" was too subtle to be funny, but it was still amusing.

Aussies in the NT really really dislike crockies
because crockies do eat people.

Ya know how here in the States kids run down to the pond
and start throwing rocks and hunting frogs?

Down under in the NT that is considered a really bad idea.

Unless you have a Barrett and a hankering for some cajun grilled croc.

Epic ad.

I love the ads, and the gumption to tell the PETA people to bugger off.
