Got the same type of service from Hi-Point for a gun I bought probably third or fourth hand.
Part of the reason I don't take much interest in a single opinion of a company. Too much for people to rate someone on, and too easy to focus on one bad and forget the dozens of goods. My problem with Columbia, for example, would be price. Doesn't take away from great service and a great product, I just can't justify that much money when something from the clearance rack of a clothes store will function as well. I don't call them a bad company for that problem, but I know plenty of people that would.
