Cool, but have you cleaned your keyboard yet ??

<-----Keyboard Police   :police:
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Terry, you need to try a good khukri, you've opined several times that the below the grip blade would cause it to turn on impact. I really haven't seen it unless you catch something hard like wood with the side of the blade before the edge bites.(AKA  doing it wrong). The blade design is about the best hacking thing I've seen.

I start to feel bad for MB until I remember all the restrictive knife laws we have here. I can carry several guns and spare ammo legally, but 4" double edge knife? I'm going to jail. Makes sense right? Some big cities like to try to make laws against machetes and spray paint because that's what causes gangs of course.

Well, I didn't know about the edge-turning, it just looked that way.  I doubt that I'll be doing any more brush clearing or chopping anyhow.  So thanks for answering that one.

I'm with you 100% on the stupid knife laws, and I've railed about being able to carry a gun* but not a switchblade, but at least I don't have to worry about some yahoo carrying a switchblade.

Since they're illegal, doncha know.

TNX again for the answer on the khukris.

Terry, i have long lost the links. but what made me the maddest about the switchblade laws is the new york case where a woman was attacked(by a waste of space, that had raped women before), and defended her self with a stiletto and was tried(can't remember the verdict the trial was enough to get me mad) for having a switchblade. =|

never mind the complete over looking the law for police that want to buy/carry one. the law says if they need one, there dept. should supply it for them.

Is this something we all do? The night I got my Coronado jacket I set off for the movies carrying a Glock 34, 1911, BHP, a Kahr MK40, and spare mags for all. Just because I could.  =D Thank god I didn't fall in a deep puddle.
