My score should have been lower, but some of the questions did not provide accurate responses and I was forced to settle for what was available.

Got to say this "test" was more stupiderest than the ones in Cosmo.

If the questions were arranged slightly better, I would have scored better.  For instance, there was not a single question about the categorization of hippies.

A good question would have been:

How would you classify hippies?

1) A valid lifestyle
2) A way of being closer to nature
3) A bit annoying, but to each their own
4) Not human
5) Zombies (Except they smell worse)

8%, but I probably would have scored higher had I been able to choose multiple choices (for milk, I drink whole, goat, and soy, for transpo, I ride a bike, walk, and drive an SUV depending on the circumstances).

I had long hair in the 60's and early 70's, and did drugs, but I was more of a long-haired greaser than hippie. Today I'm neither.

I am doubly surprised. First, I'm surprised I rose above zero percent. More importantly, I am shocked that so many of my fellow APSers scored so much higher in the hippie hierarchy. I may have to reconsider my choice of Internet hangouts.

I'm 72 yo.

Often a really inappropriate response-set. Like none for "Retired" on the job question. I probably would have been 99% hippie if all the responses contained a "Don't Care" selection.  My one comment thereon is that the author him/her-self had a very narrow outlook on people and generated questions which really only related to his/her own world view.

Eg.: question on how you carried your kids.  I used to carry both of them, one under each arm. Like you'd carry a pair of puppies.  Nowadays, either one of them could carry both me and the other kid, one under each arm.

Oh, and I haven't had a haircut since 1987. (No, I'm not bald.)

This is quite funny.  I don't have a problem buying produce at a farmer's market, heck, our next house will be a farm.  I prefer organic food, raising/hunting your own meat/produce is as organic as you can get.  I want to eat what G_d made, not what Monsanto Frankenstein-ed.  Necktie, heck I haven't worn a necktie in over 10 years.  The only way I will wear another necktie is for a wedding or a funeral.  

edit:  Some ideas about solar/wind energy isn't wrong, I just don't believe in the religion of hippie-ism, yes it is a religion.
