Just Put Together Snap-Fit A-10 Warthog Plastic Model with the Kids

Kids are 4 & 6YO.

I taught them how to remove the parts from the plastic trees without breaking them.  Despite (because?) it was Snap-Fit, I used plastic cement on all the snappy bits and wherever else it made sense(1).

I would orient and show how the piece fit and they ended up fitting 75% of them. 

Lotsa extra stickers for them to festoon the plane (not wet-float decals).

Also: Civil War army men with horseys.

Good stuff.




(1) The Snap-Fot Spitfire came apart almost immediately when we didn't use cement a while back.

thanks for the great idea!  its funny how kids reintroduce ya to the true joys of life .  mine just started riding a two wheeler bike and now shes helping dad do lard reduction. she makes me cry on a regular basis
