What is a Byzantine Plot?
« on: April 02, 2006, 05:47:59 AM »
I know the general definitions of Byzantine as related to complex and secretive. The dictionary gives the definitions as:

5.  often byzantine
a. Of, relating to, or characterized by intrigue; scheming or devious:
b. Highly complicated; intricate and involved:

So is a Byzantine plot "a" or "b", or is it / can it be a combination of the two? I tried Googling, but got nowhere definitive.

And no, I have nothing better to do this morning. Tongue

What a byzantine answer.

Repeat after me...

Istanbul was Constantinople.
Now it's Instanbul, not Constantinople.
So, if you've a date in Constantinople;
She'll be waiting in Istanbul.

Clear?

Or Byzantine? Wink
