so how do you really really clear your history?

I have several emails and I don't want them to turn up during a history search.
I use both mozilla and IE...

E-mails or links to web pages.  Mozilla and IE won't store e-mail messages so if you are using an online e-mail like Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, etc., you should be fine just deleting them and also emptying your trash in the e-mail system.

Like Cordex said, depends on who is searching. For your unk, just make sure you delete and empty your trash. Also run Crap Cleaner (great little program recommended by somebody here) once in a while. For the other Uncle, nothing short of DBAN run at its highest setting, and even then maybe not.

You can leave your cookies or toss 'em, too.

oh I'm not worried about the various letters, I just don't want people using my pc to know I wrote them.
pretty harmless stuff, unk sam wouldn't even care or even arts grannmaw...no porn or the like.

this guy was seeing my GF behind my back, (or my GF was seeing some guy behind my back, semantics) I "spoofed" his email and picked a fight with her (pretending to be him).....it worked, he wouldn't apologize for something he didn't say, and she really insulted him (she's good at that) they don't talk and I moved a state away

we are friends now (her and I) and I didn't want her stumbling on the address when she visits.

well mike we are not dating or BF GF,  but you know what? I don't hate her.  people make mistakes.

was I supposed to start shooting people?

when she found out my mom was terminal she bought me a plane ticket, we are friends.

people a flawed, people are sinners and they are weak...besides she is cute and a good cook.

she "visits" (wink wink nudge nudge)      cooks, cleans,  then goes back to SF and leaves me in gun nut heaven.

things could be way worse

I personally never looked at that kind of betrayal as the basis for a positive friendship.


But, she was dating someone behind your back, you did a little covert razzle-dazzle, pretending to be someone you weren't just so you could get revenge...

On second thought, it sounds as if you two might be well suited for each other.
