Maybe it was that cheap.  It's only been 13 years. :D

PCP guns are repeaters.

FWIW, some use scuba tanks to recharge.

PCP guns are repeaters.

not all,  the benjamin model is a single shot.  true, you can get more than one shot from a charge, but you must manually insert a pellet each time.

that would make it easy.  how long would it take with the bicycle style pump?

Depends on the tank size, caliber, operating pressure, size of the pump, etc. It really, really depends - you're essentially asking "how much powder is in a cartridge?" without giving any details as to WHAT cartridge, bullet, desired velocity.... ;)

Which one?  The new one that spawned this thread is a repeater.  They show a pellet magazine later in the video.  The one I linked to is a single shot, but you get multiple shots per charge.

You don't use a bike pump, you use a special high pressure hand pump as you are putting several hundred pounds of pressure.  I haven't looked in a while, but I think the Benjamin model (the older one, not the newest model) takes somewhere between 100 and 200 pumps with the included pump.

For the Benjamin Discovery:

. Simply hook up the gun to the pump, give it about 100 pumps to fully pressurize it and your're ready to shoot
