The real story here will in the end be not Anthony Weiner's pitiable perversions but, rather, who exactly is Huma Abedin and on whose payroll is she. Her rise to wealth, power, and connections is about as remarkable as...Barack Obama's.

The obvious has already been said about Weiner. Time to move beyond all that. If you're not paying attention to the meta-story here you should. But if you won't, you won't; I will. Weiner's a side-show, like much of what the MSM purveys to distract us from what's really going on.

If she were a blonde with blue eyes from Scandinavia, nobody would question the situation. They'd make the same jokes about her and Hillary, would insinuate she's someone's kept woman, and move on.

I think you're reaching and want it to be a story about a Saudi infiltrator so badly you can taste it. If you have proof otherwise, post it. Else, drop it. The conspiracy theories are getting old. No, they're not even theories, they're flights of fancy.

I'm not even going to bother trying to advance anything about Huma Abedin because it's obviously unwelcome here. You'd prefer to repeat the same couple of officially-sanctioned catch phrases describing her..."people are really impressed by her poise, style, intelligence, hotness"...when you don't really know anything about what her role actually is, what her relationship with Hillary is, how she got the job, what the sources of her income are, etc. But, yes, let's leave it alone, like so many other things. I wasn't "reaching," I was asking questions that clearly are not going to be answered, not by you anyway.

Because you're there, because this is a political forum, because you're Americans, because you ought to give a damn. I wasn't raising this because you are "great keepers of knowledge on high," believe me. It's not farfetched, not a "reach" to wonder about what that relationship and how it started. If it's harmless, let's know that; if not, let's know that too. But others will go there if I don't and you don't. If you want to discredit the questions even when you yourselves don't have any information, so be it. This forum lives on opinion, on "speculations," and nothing wrong with that, it's not a court of law last time I checked, but no matter.

FTR, I haven't heard squat about Mrs. Weiner other than the usual platitudes. OTOH, we knew the names of all both Bushs' top political cronies and they have long since received their proctological exams by the MSM. Huda merits similar treatment.

I know when something's unwelcome. Very well, I'm dropping it. But what I said that began this was that the ultimate take-away from all this, in my opinion, would be about Huma, not Weiner. No one really knew she existed before Weiner's escapade; now they do. I never said there was a conspiracy, only that we ought to know a lot more about Huma Abedin and her relationship to the Clintons. Let's see where it goes over the coming months.
