What's amazing to me is that CA went ahead and did it anyway, like they didn't think that Amazon would pull the plug on it's resellers even though that exactly what Amazon did when Illinois pulled the same stupidity.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

  • I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

Not far from where I live ( 80 miles or so) is an Amazon warehouse, employs a ton and they were gonna tax em, but the vote failed because enough people like a paycheck in northern NV

So how long has your family been in California, Ben?  >:D

I think maybe since the 60's, but with all the doobies and stuff, it's all one big haze man...

Due to crossing an Indian reservation where the speed limit is 25mph the commute would be two hours.

I'm certainly not going to stop buying from Amazon

Hell, no.  I will continue to buy from/through them because they have the balls to tell California to eat it.
