I watched In the Line of Fire last night on the Roku channel.  I've always wondered what cartridge that plastic gun fired, and assumed it was something high pressure like 9mm Federal (9x19R) -- you just had to suspend disbelief when the gun actually held together for more than one shot.  I paused when the headstamp was visible; it was at an angle so I couldn't read it all that well but I think it said "R·P 38 SHORT"  And they had round nosed lead bullets.

There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought
