It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Adam Carolla shares so many core beliefs with APSers, I wouldn't be surprised if he was one.  I've been listening to his podcast for close to a year and find myself generally in agreement with him.

BTW, did you guys know he worked his way up from practically nothing?

Me thinks he is over simplifying or ignoring the motivations behind the political unrest in the US, which is not limited to OWS. And terrrst attacks happened to us because we have women with big fake boobs and we party in big cars? Entertaining but misleading. He side steps mayor issues.

Now, he's not my favorite guy, but blaming Giuliani for the terrorist attack is a bit of a stretch.   ;)

No he is correct about that too.
The musloids in dirkadirkastan hate us because of our excesses, or more importantly because the superwealthy mullahs have brainwashed the poor masses into thinking that our excesses are the source of their poverty.
This pattern was pretty much perfected by Hitler- "See you can't get a job, your currency is worth less, and you are in hopeless debt because of the Jew bankers."

The only reason why I don't find the OWS movement to be terrifying is because of their general lack of organization skills or ambition.
Their motivations and sentiments are exactly those of the Nazis, though most of the herd is too stupid to understand it.

I was under the impression that it was proper form to give a sampling of one's own thoughts regarding the subject of the article linked or barring that a sufficient explanation as to why the article is to the interest of the forum.

Or maybe Pharma was talking about some cartoon character that Carolla mentioned? I thought he meant that Carolla was the cartoon character. I guess I wouldn't be too upset if I turned out to be wrong about some argument about what Adam Carolla said.
