If a "gay gene" is discovered, and can be screened for prenatally, will teh geys seek to outlaw abortion?

If so, will they form a third party to do so, or will they join the Republican Party?

If the latter, will they be true Republicans, or just RINOs?

Most of the issues dealing with imposing or protecting morality are distractors used by the political establishment to polarize the electorate. It keeps us pitted against each other, instead of turning on the Government.

The War on Drugs was the foot in the door for the Police State. The BOR has been continuously molested by the Government since it began.

Third party candidates are a must if we want any chance of breaking free from the political gauntlet we find ourselves in. There is little difference between the Rs and the Ds. We need to get over the right-left divide because they are the same party, serving the same interests. RINOs are a good example of this. Vote for the issues not the Party.

Cops... there are good cops and bad cops... but the good cops seem content to do nothing about the bad ones. Current training makes the Police-Civilian interaction more of a occupation force patrolling a hostile population than Concerned citizens protecting their community.

Government sanction or legal approval is not the definition of liberty. The constitution presupposes we are born with inalienable rights bestowed upon us from the architect of life and creation. Bio/chem machines do not have rights, society grants them entitlements at the whim of the majority or elite. Those entitlements can be just as easily denied on a whim. Rights are worth fighting for for this very reason. Life, liberty and property are intertwined in what it means to be truly human.

There is a legitimate government role in regulating drugs like heroin or meth. The case for regulating booze and pot is very weak.

The libertarian position should be to get government out of marriage altogether. This is and has been my position for years. As an entitlement I oppose its expansion just as I oppose the expansion of all the other entitlements.

Every political issue is one of morality. Our political discussions will become much more productive when we all internalize this.

Do I have to affirm your icky lifestyle and pretend that it's wholesome and good? Or just leave you alone and tend to my own ickiness? (how about if I also quietly judge you?)
