Nikon M223 scope - opinions/experiences?
« on: April 22, 2012, 06:27:05 PM »
I'm thinking of wading into the AR world beyond the .22 upper I have. These Nikons seem to be a fairly decent inexpensive scope, Amazon reviews are glowing.
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

I don't have that particular scope, but I have Nikon Buckmasters which are excellent scopes for the money.

My meat and potatoes rifle (300 WM) is topped with a Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 and I did harvest an antelope with at 429 yards. If I do my part I can get 1" groups at 200 yards.

I think Nikon make good glass for their price range. I also have a Burris Fullfield II on my muzzle-loader, they also make good glass. I almost like my Burris a little more than my Nikon.

Don't worry someone will come along and crap all over Nikon.

My experience with Nikon is good, but only with one scope.
