Israeli/Jewish name "Chaim"...best translation to American-English?

Just curious. I know it's really a popular name and wonder if there is a "Bill", "Bob", or "Jim" equivalent in American popular names.

It means "life".

I would guess the "English" equivalent would be Zoe.
