So we're at the store buying things for Brooke's birthday party tomorrow, and she stops in the canned goods aisle. Picks up some canned food, including some canned meat, then goes over and snags a thing of protein bars and a case of water.

I ask her what that's all for, as I'm a bit puzzled. She gets embarrassed and doesn't wanna say.


Turns out, she has been doing this every time she goes to the grocery store, stocking up in case of disaster, civil unrest, or other things that may necessitate us hunkering down for a bit.

And she thought i'd be mad.

I'm so proud!

Now that I know about it, I'm gonna help. If she'll let me.

Its a good thing to have but.... You have not noticed the stuff stacking up around the house.

We normally have a lot of food around the house so I'm not that paranoid. I do have 4 cases of mre's and some other freeze dried food in the basement.
