I just run .32-20 WCF brass through a Nagant die to make ammo for my 1895. Sure, you don't get the gas seal that way, but without a suppressor you don't notice a difference. With the loads I've been using it recoils about like a .22, maybe a touch more.

Ouch.  I hope you don't have many rejects, else you'll burn more money in brass than you paid for the gun.  32-20 brass is expensive and hard to get.

Eh, I shoot it rarely enough that it's been so long since I bought the brass that I don't remember what I paid. :P Plus side to the .32-20 is that it's reloadable unlike genuine Nagant rounds (aforementioned long neck splitting). Haven't had any reloaded brass split or otherwise go bad on me yet.

If you want an 'interesting' yet a lo more functional combloc handgun, I'd save up a few more nickels and dimes and get one of these instead:

I'd be interested in hearing an unbiased first hand report on the Armscor wheelgun.

I looked at one closely once.  Rough.  The Rossi next to it was much nicer.  But, that was at least 5 years ago, and some of the other Armscors ("Rock Island" guns) now have a good rep.  (Though, I suspect it's easier to make an good autoloader than a good revolver.)
