Oh, the super glue will do the job.  I once glued the tip of the index finger of my left hand to the tip of the thumb of my right hand.  The glued-up "OK" sign of my fingers was around the steering wheel of my car at the time.  In Ohio, in winter, in a quiet parking lot.  That is, my left hand was not glued to the steering wheel, but the fingers were glued together around the steering wheel.

Y'all will notice I'm staying out of these spider wars.  I've met MrsSmith IRL.  One of the things I realized then was that I did not want to get on her bad side.  My recommendation to you gentlemen is to put down the spiders and back slowly away.
