I hear a lot of love for this show, though not in the circles in which I travel. I was just curious if folks here liked it, or not. I don't think it would be my kind of show, in any case, I find the gay dudes kinda off-putting.

I wonder how much recognition it gets for actual entertainment value, and how much is just for political correctness.

Or maybe it's just because of that Mexican chick.

Another reason why I do not complain (too loudly) about the charges for the "premium" channels.

I actually looked this up.  I'm still rinsing out my mouth and my mind.

Other than the local news in the AM and PM I avoid the (former) broadcast channels like the plague.

Need the "Heard of it but don't care" option.  I watch very few shows that are not SciFi.  Make that none.

Amazing police videos and world's dumbest are often more entertaining.  Besides, there is always a good movie on or something on the DVR to watch.  I turned on the TV last night and Open Range was on.  I couldn't turn the channel on that.

although i don't choose to watch sitcoms, my wife watches the new episodes.   when i'm in the room i find myself enjoying the show as well, but wouldn't go out of my way to see it.  oh, and the hispanic mom is freakin' hot!

I assumed it was a new show, but I just looked it up and it's been on for 3 seasons already.  I don't think I've ever seen it; it's the kind of show I avoid -- and I watch very little TV anyway.  "Grimm" and occasionally "60 Minutes" is about it now.  "Elementary" looks like it has potential.

I think I might have seen a part of it when my wife was watching something on TV recently- though it might have been a different show altogether.

Hystarical. Done in a similar style to the Guest Mockumetaries (Best in Show, Spinal Tap)
The hispanic stepmom and son are brilliant. She's hot AND she has comedic talent (that's rare)
The gay guys are awesome. Cal is hystarical.
Brilliant, well done, good timing, great actors, much smarter then half the sitcom crap out there.
My only beef has been the timeslot. I don't watch a lot of sitcoms simpley due to the half hour format  and the major networks rarely stagger the good shows even if both are running sitcoms that night. I tend to watch the hour long shows instead. ABC always pairs Modern Family with the Middle, and despite the fact that it has the Janitor, I don't care for The Middle.
