There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Only the dead have seen the end of war!

But at least they didn't recognize Palestine as a state.

The media seem to want to make it appear as if the U.S. has lost major mojo over this.  ???

Didn't the UN decide that there was to be a Jewish and an Arab state back in 1947  ???

A Palestinian state means that the Hamas rockets emanating from Palestine should be legally considered a full-on act of war, giving Israel a corresponding basis for retaliation. All to the good.

That should be a very lively prize-claiming seminar, including more than just timeshare sales presentations.

Can't take it anymore. It's "Palestine," with two e's.

This has been a message from the American Spelling Nazi Council. Thank you.

A young boy in Sunday School was asked to name the birthplace of Jesus. He guessed Athens and then Carthage. When told the answer was Palestine, he replied, “Well, I knew it was somewhere in East Texas.”

(it's pronounced "PAL-a-steen" there)

So it's to be a bifurcated "state" -- they get both the west bank AND the Gaza strip?

And they're already proclaiming that Jerusalem is their capital.

This is not going to end well.

Perhaps cleaved is a more apt term here than bifurcated.  As if by a battle axe.
