The Chinese scored the detailed plans to dozens of top secret weapon systems as well as millions of pieces of identifying info like emails and SSN's, most of which was obtained by scam emails. Seriously, the folks that want to manage your healthcare can't keep Top Secret info safe against a glorified Nigerian Prince email.

Oh, and having worked for uncle sam is why I just laugh when people cough up deep conspiracy theories. 

In my experience, at least in the FAA, the lower level workers work, do their jobs, and strive to provide a service.  The managers politic, ass kiss, hide, sleep, travel and otherwise *expletive deleted*ck off.  And it gets worse the higher they get.

There should absolutely be NO government unions. When you're working for the government (whether local, state or fed), you're already in a defacto "union".
