And was it worth it?

The woman then asked if it would bother him if she swam in the nude, and he replied that it would not. She proceeded to take off her clothes and jumped into the pool, swimming for about 20 minutes. The home owner retrieved a towel from inside his home, the woman dried off, dressed and left.

It was at that point he re-entered his home to discover that he had been robbed of a handgun, jewelry and medication. Loss was placed at $1,195, according to Davis' report.

The incident took place last Saturday on Canterbury Lane around 3 p.m. at the home of a 54-year-old man who told police that a couple who live nearby approached his home

I guess it won't be to hard to figure out who did it.

For a moment I was afraid these robbers were members of that gang working out of the parking lots at Lowes, Home Depot, and Lumber 84, branching out to individual homes.

There's a good chance it's not, but then again it might be the parents of one of those gang members.

BTW - The Dollar Store will give a bulk discount if you buy at least a dozen at a time.

My father-in-law lives in Crossville, but he doesn't have a pool and he's a lot older than that guy.

Well, they did steal a handgun...
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

seems to me, for $1100 you should be able to do more than watch.

This reminds me of a recent local news story.  A prostitution sting arrested an underage commercial sex worker (the PC term we use in healthcare) and her pimp.  It was a deal arranged on Backpage and she agreed to 'all night for $ 1200'.  I remember thinking '$ 1200 for that?'.

Waitadarnminute. The hooker is a "commercial sex worker", but the pimp is still a "pimp"? That hardly seems career-equitable or socially just.

Shouldn't he be a "commercial sexual transaction facilitator" or equivalent?
