I see more minivans at my local Menards and Home Depot than pickup trucks these days.

Maybe it's because they do appliance delivery now - let somebody else do the grunt work.

Being in The Family Way, minivans would seem somewhat logical for Balog's situation...

You can haul quite a bit in a Suburban.  They are cheaper to find used than a pickup - I guess because an old pickup is always a pickup, but an old Suburban is just an old car without all the latest gizmos.

I know.  #2 Stepson just sold his '97 K1500 U-Boat for $400.00, with blown 5.7L and sans new 4L80E transmission.

Should make somebody some darned fine low-cost housing.

FWIW, my '88 Custom F-150 inline6 ZF 5 speed 4x4 is still running strong. 220K miles.

It's going to be my daughter's here in 8 months or so.

Bought myself an '08 F150 4x4 5.4l just over a year ago. Not a moment's trouble.

I just unloaded my '92 Cheokee with 250K on the clock for $800. Anyone in need of an '83 Chevy 1/2ton, 250 6cyl/auto, actual 67K miles? I'd take a grand for it.

Probably more than you'd be willing to spend =D

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Too bad I didn't know you wanted to sell the injun   (getting it here might have been an issue)

Anyway, my other daughter lives near College Station (TX) with her husband and kids.  They just bought a used Honda after the escort died, but since they are out on acreage with a pony, they could used a beater pickup.  Too bad it's not a 4 speed, but I can ask her if they are interested.
