You can't take my lake from me
« on: November 09, 2013, 08:13:09 PM »
Had another good day sailing today.
My slip neighbor and fellow submariner got a couple of pics of Serenity under sail.
Not great pics but the first ones I've seen of the boat on the water under sail.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

In the first photo? The lake's not level -- pretty soon all the water will run out ...

Sailing is fun, especially for sail control freaks.   =D All sorts of cool fancy stuff to shape the sail. None of it works of course if the water is out of level.

I see what you did there.

Good thing you didn't run out of sailboat fuel!
