Not yet. Everyone I know is recommending it though. It's in my queue now, but I'm finally getting around to watching "Deadwood", so gonna marathon that first.

There's only a handful of shows that have grabbed me like this- breaking bad, sopranos, walking dead.
Throw in a lot more evilness and nearly x rated sex...woohoo.

Do also check out the Brit original. A bit dated now, not as edgy, but still very good.

Loved the American series.  I have the Brit series in my queue to watch.

On Netflix it is called The House Of Cards Trilogy.

It really is a great series. Very, very well done and I like it a lot. Waiting not at all patiently for the upcoming second season.

I must say, between House of cards and the other series they're doing, like Lillyhammer, Netflix is doing some excellent original content.

And as Jocassee can attest-

Yes, it's real.

Yes, it does look like that.

Yes, everyone I know has an opinion on what it looks like and they all follow a general theme.

If you've watched all the way through, you know that of which I speak.

Real politics is more than enough to make me   [barf] [barf] [barf] [barf]

Why would I want to watch made-up politics?
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

I thought the same before I gave it a chance.

I also thought that I don't generally like dramas, I'm a sci-fi and fantasy and Archer guy.

But then I gave it a chance. It is really well written, good enough to cause me to cross genre's and watched the whole first season, and actually be excited for the 2nd season. Give it a chance.

Yeah I guess that one wanted to much for a second season  =D
