Quote from Alan Greenspan at a recent talk on "income inequality"  ;/ and the need to bring in moar H1-B visas. Someone is letting their true colors show, but no one cares. Very interesting take on it, I had no idea about the difference between visas and green cards.

  • Hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats
If the Democrat party is warring on the middle class, the Republican party is water boarding the middle class with its support of amnesty and work visas.

There is nothing- NOTHING- more damaging to the middle class than the relentless devaluing of our dollars due to rabid money issuance by the Fed, in order to pay for the ballooning social programs of the DEMs.

It robs every person who has been careful, frugal, and saved. It robs every person on a limited income. It is the most insidious form of theft, rewarding the rich and punishing the middle, soon to be the poor. Not only do the dollars buy less, but the expansion of them vis-s vis the imputed value of assets they hold, causes taxation to rise. In many cases, people are actually be taxed on a REDUCTION in actual buying power.

That's a feature, not a bug- if you were someone in power at least.
I would say the republicans are complicit in this too. Other than a few instances at the state levels, there has been little to no rollback of the welfare state by republicans... and they've had about 50 years to act on the 'great society' programs and about 70 or so years with socialist security.
