I have a user with three monitors. Two on DisplayPort running in portrait orientation he uses for market/trading software, the third is landscape and he leaves his MS Outlook open in it.
His email messages will duplicate over and over, except it's just the header info, From, Subject, Recieved, Size etc. that duplicates. Underneath each is it's own unique email. Closing/reopening Outlook makes it go away for a few minutes.
The interwebz and MS support/MS K-Base articles are of no help.
Searching everything/anything even close to "duplicate messages display Outlook" gets results for actual duplicate messages, PDA/phone synch issues, using a POP3 server with an ISP, or .OST corruption. Nothing about when it's just this display corruption for a user on the Exchange server, and the messages underneath are still unique.
After my team got desperate, we finally tried switching around the users monitors and putting Outlook and the horizontal monitor onto DVI from the DisplayPort solved it for about a month, then it came back. So maybe it just spontaneously resolved itself and it solved nothing.
Has ANYONE else seen this issue?
OST has been scanned/repaired, no change. Office/Outlook 2010 has been completely uninstalled and reinstalled.
I'm ready to just rip out his ATI video cards and replace them with Nvidia based ones just to see if completely different video/drivers fixes it.
