The guy is a pit-bull and master of getting to the heart of the issue and demanding the facts and the truth.

I think another investigation is unnecessary, a waste of time and resources, regardless of who leads it.  Unnecessary not in the sense that nothing else will be brought to light over the Benghazi incident, but because nothing will be done about whatever is found out.
It is all just political grandstanding, and we have far too much of that.
Republicans want to use the anticipated outcome as yet another club to beat HRH Hillary Clinton.  They just need to get used to the notion that, if she ultimately decides to run for President, she will be elected.  The Republicans have no one to run against her that has a chance of winning.

I disagree,  This is a stepping stone to impeachment (and the destruction of HRC), should the R's gain the Senate and increase their majority in the House, this committee could (and should) introduce that articles of impeachment once Gowdy is done.

Gowdy's a former prosecutor.   A good choice as select committee chair.  An even better one for drafting and arguing Articles of Impeachment.   I got a feeling the Select Committee won't stop at Benghazi.  (He's been on the committees that "looked" at F&F and the IRS.)

No way in hell are they going to impeach the second black president. You saw what a circus the Clinton impeachment was, and what it accomplished (nada).

With Obama's impeachment, you'd have rioting.

Not to say that people like Gowdy aren't daring enough to do it, but it ain't going to happen because the rest of Congress will not go along with it.

Republicans impeach Obama???  Ain't gonna happen.  Last go'round (Clinton) it was republicans (Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott) who threw the entire House Manager's case into the can.  That was also the event that gave us the rise of Lindsey Graham to national prominence.  No thanks, one Lindsey Graham is enough.  One republican projectile puke is enough.

Dude, that was like 2 years ago. The press is far more interested in what ever scandal they can dig on Sarah Palin's family this week than what the Obama admin may or may to have done to facilitate the death of 4 Americans.
