Help! my car A/C / Heater smells like cat whiz =(

Mice or squirrels. Look for the previously mentioned seed hulls or a nest somewhere. Maybe a dead mouse in there? Not sure how to deal with the smell. I usually out a box of decon under the hood in the fall which is when they start looking for shelter from the impending cold.

Yeah. Mice ate the wiring for the transfer case on my friend's truck.

IDK, decomposing mouse doesn't smell at all like cat piss.

Although mice moving into vehicles is a major problem. My bosses original bus was a mouse paradise. In addition to eating wires and other stuff, my boss is deathly afraid of the little bastards so the possibility of her wreaking the bus if a mouse came out and said "hi" was a major issue.

Every so often I come across a fried mouse in an A/C control box. Chewed into the high voltage wires. That's gotta sting.

Shot a 1/2 can of lysol into the intake, let it circulate/recirculate and changed the cabin air filter. So far so good, I'll wait a few days to make a final judgement though.

Urine smells like urine to me. Apparently I have an undeveloped nose.
