Prices have stabilized the last few days in Northern Virginia, it seems.

Crude is dropping, down $4 a barrel, and DOW futures are up 500 points.

For now.

Maybe he should go ask Biden why he was begging OPEC to up production after his policies sent to futures market into overdrive.

I read that the Biden administration saw how well shutting down pipelines hobbled our economy so they decided they had to get Nord Stream shut down to hobble Russia's economy as well  =D
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

$4.09 in Lubbock as of this morning. It was 3.39 two weeks ago.

RBOB spot is down 42 cents from yesterday, $3.31 vs $3.73. Maybe the market is settling a little.

I can usually take RBOB spot, add 15% for retailer margin, then tack on 38.6 cents in tax and that'll be within a nickel or so of local pump price in 3-5 days. I say usually because that's when prices are more or less stable with a couple percent daily fluctuation or some general gentle trend. When spot swings are this nuts, all bets are off.

White House is getting desperate over oil prices, gas prices and inflation.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/white-house-blames-russia-record-high-gas-prices

WH is also saying it will do everything it can to shield Americans from pain at the pump.

But does that include actively encouraging more US production?

WHAT ARE YOU, SOME KIND OF RACIST SHITLORD WHO HATES AMERICAN BROWN AND BLACK PEOPLE OF COLOR AND WHO WANTS TO SEE THE WORLD BURN AND DROWN AT THE SAME TIME?

I wonder whom the White House is going to blame when poor Americans freeze to death this coming winter because they can't afford to heat their homes?

Just goes to prove that Brandon is a racist who is more than willing to perpetuate fossil fuel violence against brown people, as long as they're not OUR brown people.

Diesel is $5.19 a gallon and on its way to almost $6 at some of the stations around here. Gas is $4+.

And this is at one of the cheapest states in the nation.

But Hollyweird elite are busy telling us we should be grateful to be able to make the sacrifice of paying more.

Don't you love how people who make 50 million in a year by looking pretty tell us that inflation and gas prices are not a problem.

Got gas last night.

Pump price was $4.349 a gallon.

I had $1.20 a gallon off due to grocery store card rewards.

A bit over 13 gallons at $3.149 a gallon.... my first ever $40+ fill up.

Thank God a tank of gas lasts me 3 to 4 weeks these days given that I live so close to the office.

I could swear that during the Obama gas debacle, gas taxes were suspended for a while. Am I misremembering? Or maybe it was just CA that did it and not the feds?

I notice they have not been on the table at the fed level, though I saw CA (who I think currently has the highest gas taxes in the country) is talking about a "tax rebate" or something.
